Parent Selection

Nando selects the most suitable parent strains based on the briefing. You have a say in the final selection.

Pheno Hunt

Multiple phenotypes of the parent strains are grown out and evaluated for the best combination.

Cross

The selected parents are crossed. F1 seeds are produced and tested for consistency.

Handover

You receive your F1 seed pack, full documentation, project log, and numbered authenticity certificate with your strain name.

What exactly is Strain as a Service?

Gypsynando breeds an exclusive F1 hybrid autoflower strain specifically for you over 8 months. You define the direction in a briefing, Nando selects the parent genetics, guides the pheno hunt and the cross, and delivers a complete package including F1 seeds, documentation, and full naming rights.

What does F1 mean in this context?

F1 (First Filial Generation) is the direct cross of two genetically stable parent strains. F1 hybrids typically show exceptional vigor and consistency. Your strain will be a unique F1 cross that exists nowhere else.

What is included in the handover package?

F1 seed pack, documented grow story, numbered authenticity certificate, full naming rights, and the complete project log from briefing to completion. The Signature and Heritage tiers also include Nando as co-breeder credit.

How many slots are available?

The capacity is very limited by design. Foundation and Signature: a handful of slots per year. Heritage: maximum 1-3 per year. This ensures Nando can dedicate full attention to every project.

How is the payment structured?

50% upfront at the start of the project, 50% on delivery. No hidden costs, no additional fees.

Can I commission a strain as a gift or investment?

Yes. The Heritage/Founder Slot in particular is designed for collectors and investors who want a unique and documented piece of autoflower history.
